Island Peak

Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. Transfer to your hotel and meet with the trekking team. Briefing about the trek, equipment check, and necessary preparations. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

Guided sightseeing tour of Kathmandu’s UNESCO World Heritage sites. Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple), Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, and Kathmandu Durbar Square. Trek preparation and gear check in the afternoon. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

Early morning flight from Kathmandu to Lukla (2,860m), a thrilling experience with panoramic mountain views. Meet the trekking crew in Lukla and start trekking towards Phakding. Descend through rhododendron and pine forests, passing small villages along the Dudh Koshi River. Overnight stay in Phakding.

Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar, the bustling Sherpa town and commercial hub of the Khumbu region. ABC Trek

Climbing Island Peak requires prior trekking and some basic mountaineering experience. It’s recommended for those with previous high-altitude trekking experience and some technical climbing skills.

You will need permits such as the Sagarmatha National Park entry permit and a climbing permit for Island Peak. Our team will assist in obtaining these permits.

The best times are the pre-monsoon (spring) months of March to May and the post-monsoon (autumn) months of September to November. These seasons offer stable weather and clear mountain views.
