Arrive in Kathmandu, meet our team, and transfer to your hotel. Enjoy a welcome dinner and briefing about the trek.

Take an early morning flight to Lukla and begin trekking to Phakding. Enjoy views of the Himalayas and settle into teahouse accommodation.

Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar, the gateway to the Everest region. Enter Sagarmatha National Park and enjoy the first views of Everest.

Rest Day in Namche Bazaar for acclimatization. Optional hike to Everest View Hotel for panoramic mountain views.

Trek to Dole, passing through forests and small Sherpa settlements. Experience the unique culture and hospitality of the Sherpa people.

Trek to Machhermo, enjoying views of Cho Oyu and other peaks. Learn about high-altitude sickness and safety precautions.

ABC Trek

The Gokyo Trek is considered moderately challenging and requires a good level of fitness due to high altitudes and some steep sections. Prior trekking experience is beneficial but not mandatory.

Permits required include the Sagarmatha National Park entry permit and the TIMS (Trekkers’ Information Management System) card. Our team assists in obtaining these permits for trekkers.

The best seasons for the Gokyo Trek are spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) when the weather is stable, skies are clear, and mountain views are spectacular.
