Flexibility is king!  - So, in order to provide context, here is what I have done with them.
I wanted to trek in the Everest region, but I wanted flexibility and not so much... read more inclusions.
After some research upon my arrival in Kathmandu, I decided I wanted to do the 3 passes (and Kala Patthar) but that I also wanted to start my trek before Lukla (I wanted to take a bus to go, and fly back).
While all other agencies I visited wanted to sell me a full package (i.e: guide from Kathmandu for the whole duration), it was easy with Unique Waymaker to personalize. They got me the bus ticket to Bandar where I started my trek for 6 days without guide. I then had a guide meeting me along the way (Phakding) which stayed with me for the higher, much complex passages (passes) until back in Lukla.
If you, like me, would like some flexibility (although I'm sure they also offer full packages), I highly recommend!
